The Shield House

A house designed behind a huge wall to protect its environment from a rather busy and large road providing its access. Behind this shield lies a delicate and impervious residential environment that connects with its open spaces, sun movements and wind directions rightfully enough to enjoy the bearing of the land. The articulation of spaces allow sun shading to one another while the visual connections between the space remain unperturbed. The terraces of the house also connect the inhabitants with the sky while shielding privacy of the inhabitants from a nearby flyover.
