Bhairavi Dhoot

Bhairavi Dhoot strongly believes in the power of design discipline expressed through thoughtful spatial and material language. Her approach is rooted in understanding the essential purpose and long-term impact of the built environment, seeking meaningful and responsible design solutions that respond to both people and place. Her early professional experience with DP Architects, Mumbai, and C168 Architects, Singapore, across high-end residential, hospitality, commercial and real estate projects, has shaped her understanding of design at multiple scales and across diverse contexts. Following her Master’s in Advanced Sustainable Design, sustainability not just in design but also in process of her practice. eyond practice, Bhairavi serves as a member of the trust of DoshiWeKnow, contributing to its commitment to nurturing young thinkers and professionals and continuing a legacy of critical inquiry and design excellence inspired by Architect BV Doshi.

Her intention to her practice brings together architectural rigour, sustainability-focused thinking, and a commitment to meaningful environments at a broader discourse on design and society.

Ujjaval Parekh

Ujjaval is an architect and academic-practitioner whose work is grounded in rigorous research, critical thinking, and contextual sensitivity. Driven by a deep curiosity about cities, their character, and their complexities, he believes good design emerges from understanding context and translating that understanding into thoughtful and enduring environments. His early international experience with HB Design, Singapore, and through projects across India, Thailand, and Singapore, imbined his design skilles of high-rise residential and large scale workplaces. This breadth of experience, together with his engagement in architectural education at Singapore Polytechnic and CEPT University, has shaped his practice that balances vision with practicality.

Ujjaval brings depth of experience, maturity, and analytical rigour to every project, with research informing the process from concept development to execution. Beyond practice, his commitment to ethical leadership, equity, and inclusivity extends to his role as a patron of the Feminist Collaborative in Architecture.

RIAS Studio operates as a small, collaborative team where ideas are discussed openly and developed through continuous dialogue and design exploration. The studio works on a variety of projects with consistent deadlines, requiring an efficient and focused approach to work while maintaining a steady pace of creative engagement. The open studio setup encourages interaction among team members, making it easy to observe ongoing work, exchange feedback, and learn from one another. Regular discussions with the principal architects are an integral part of the workflow, allowing for direct guidance and involvement in the design process. Although the work is approached with seriousness and commitment, the overall atmosphere is informal and relaxed. The studio values a balance between professional rigor and a supportive work environment, fostering both individual growth and teamwork.
