Atrium House

The brief of having an indoor swimming pool, triggered the idea of developing a concept of a green atrium space which acts as an anchor and heart of the house. The Atrium space is also supported by vast outdoor vistas, large verandahs for social gatherings and a high volume light weight roof with soft space elements and pivoted openings. The butterfly roof opens up to reach the extent of the sky and also integrates the solar panels. Large glass openings towards the north extends the visual connections to the sky as well as the deep landscape vistas of the site.
