Karnavati Club

Karnavati club in Ahmedabad has an unmatched legacy and the new club development required to be develop with a global inclusivity that broadens its outreach and cater to the future generations. An idea proposal developed based on the design statement – ‘A strong architectural expression that not only celebrates the legacy of an ever evolving city club culture, but also reflects its global aspirations integrating local and regional values.’ The physical manifestation of the built form is defined by large floating superblocks that house different club activities. These super blocks are connected through green corridors and opens up into a central forest zone. This forest area has a central location connecting directly to each of the surrounding built forms and activities.
